JJ Hutton is an active member of The Robinson House Writers group. His career to date has included service in the British Army as a paratrooper and later as a senior officer in the UK Special Forces group (Reserves). He followed this with a global role as a senior executive in the energy industry. He is an active supporter of several veterans’ charities and is a trustee of the Parachute Regiment Association.

He now combines his passion for history, research and writing, which is intriguing to his readers. JJ is an ardent walker and local historian. He is a committed advocate for Yorkshire and is passionate about extolling its amazing rugged beauty and its profusion of folklore.
